The wait is over all you blog followers! Chris left this morning,(Winnipeg-Chicago-Atlanta-Bogota) and I will join him on Saturday. Typical us, booked far too late and couldn't get a flight together, but I have been assured by Chris that he will find a place to stay that I approve of, and he will be waiting for me at the airport when I land. We are flying into Bogota, Colombia. Now, mothers and aunties, please don't panic. Chris and I are very safe and cautious travellers ( which you know) Colombia has become much safer in the past 5-10 years and everyone we have spoken to have said nothing but good things about the country.
Anyways, we are heading for Ecuador on Sunday, where we will be spending 3 weeks. We're not sure if we are heading to the Galapagos Islands, but there are loads of other things to see and do.

I just had a better look at the link to the markets and I just realized I had better take fewer things in my backpack as I see things I want already.....Damn me and my shopping addiction!
So I'm a little surprised. I've been checking out the weather there and thought it would be hotter. Have fun you guys!
