Well, its official. We got our visas back from Toronto on Monday, and today I booked our tickets. Chris's travel dates have changed, so he will be going on February 12th instead of the beginning of the month.
We're going to have some long flights ahead of us again. We fly from Winnipeg to Toronto, Toronto to London, London to Bahrain (where's that you ask??? its a tiny tiny speck of a country in the Middle East very close to Saudi Arabia) and then from Bahrain to Mumbai. We both have the same routes, just on different dates.
The way back is almost the same, with the only difference being instead of Bahrain, we go to Oman, (I had to check the map for that one too) which is on the eastern tip of Saudi Arabia.
So all those flights should make for an interesting start and end to our trip!
Now all I keep thinking about is packing. I know according to the countdown I think I have 1 month to go, but really, can I pack too early?! I need to make sure I've remembered everything!
